Mussennore Riserva

This is the first vintage of this Riserva Cannonau from Mamoiada in central Sardinia and comes from 50 year old vines. The wine spends 2 years in oak, followed by a further year in the bottle. This is a bold and beautifully elegant riserva wine with a pronounced perfume of wilted rose, cherry liquor, toast, vanilla, cloves, carob, capers and rosemary. A powerful fruity wine, full bodied with a long elegant mineral and balsamic spicy finish.
