Squarcione

Made from Nero Di Troia by the appassimento method by leaving them on the vine before careful selection, destemming and crushing. The wine is a deep ruby red and complex and on the nose it has notes of red rose and dried violet. In the mouth it is smooth and rounded and the ripe fruit produces a jammy sweetness. The tannins are refined and the finish is a full expression of the terroir. Pairs well with flame grilled meat, sweetbreads, pork, stuffed meat and aged cheese.
